Meet Dr. Thames
Dr. Kyle Thames was born in Oregon and grew up on a Christmas tree farm. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry. In 2011, he completed his doctorate with High Honors from Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) School of Dentistry. That year, Dr. Thames was inducted into the Delta Chapter of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and selected as an ODS Scholar for being one of the top 5 dental students at OHSU.
After graduation, Dr. Thames was a private practice General Dentist for three years. During this time, he also volunteered at a community dental clinic and taught dental students as an OHSU affiliate faculty. In 2014, he was selected to join the Advanced Education program in Endodontics at the Dental College of Georgia. After completing residency, Dr. Thames returned to Oregon as a private practice Endodontist and was an Assistant Professor of Endodontology at OHSU. It only took one harsh winter to motivate him and his family to relocate to Arizona in search of more sunny days. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking, biking and volunteering for both domestic and foreign dental missions.
“To say it was the best dental experience I have ever had is an understatement.” Andrea B.
